- Description
We sometimes see ram lambs/shearlings horns growing to close to their faces ending up causing rubbing and sores. This is when you would use a growth spring.
It is easy to apply a ram horn spring by drilling a hole on either end of the horns , these are big enough for the end of the springs to fit in comfortably. This gives enough pressure to allow the horn to grow away from the face.Care must be taken to monitor this growth as it can be overdone.
